︎︎︎ Visual Archive
Risograph printed booklet, a collection of projects developed over the past few years
In Visual Archive, the booklet's physical characteristics echo the content. They shape the body of work within, and tactically mimic the qualities which characterise the author's work — exploration, interconnection, and analysis.
The visual and tactile characteristics of Visual Archive are a result of specific design choices as well as printing process constraints. Together, they combine to create a work of variety and interconnection. The dimensions of the pages vary, the paper has a rough and uncoated finish, the edges of the images are uneven, the thick soy oil-based ink leaves occasional smudges on the pages, and the prints differ very slightly from one another — rendering Visual Archive a portrait of an iterative and ever-evolving creative process.
