Valeria Granillo, the studio’s founder and director, is an architect, designer, strategist, and producer with over a decade of experience in the creative industries. She specialises in conceptualising ideas and guiding projects of all scales from inception to completion.
Her portfolio includes notable collaborations such as: CAFx — Copenhagen Architecture Forum︎︎︎, where she currently serves as Head of Communications, Project Manager, and Curator, contributing to numerous cultural projects like the Copenhagen Architecture Biennial︎︎︎; The Erasmus+ partnership UCCRN_edu︎︎︎, which includes members of the Urban Climate Change Research Network︎︎︎; BIG Ideas, the think tank of Bjarke Ingels Group︎︎︎; Århus University’s School of Communication and Culture︎︎︎; CPH:DOX — Copenhagen International Documentary Festival︎︎︎.
Originally from Italy and now based in Copenhagen, Valeria holds an MArch with honors from the University of Naples Federico II, with a focus on Architecture, Design, and Conservation. She has also undertaken studies in Creative Business Development, Project Management, Brand Management, Communications, Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsability, Public Relations and Marketing, Photography, and Creative Coding.
Valeria is a mentor at the Danish Association of Architects (Arkitektforeningen) and publishes a regular newsletter exploring the creative process and intentional work.
When left to her own devices, Valeria can usually be found taking notes︎︎︎ or working on self-initiated projects. Her (current) interests lie in the evolving definition of design, architecture beyond the limits of its built form, regenerative practices, human-technology relationships.
